Aggre

Economic calendar

The schedule of statistical releases and central-bank decision days: what is published, by whom, and when. It is the schedule only. There are no estimates and no actual or previous values. Authentication, errors and conventions are on the overview.

Status

No collector writes to this dataset yet, so every read comes back empty (meta.status = "empty"). The storage and the read route exist. Nothing on this page means any release date is available, and Aggre does not vouch for the accuracy of a date it has not stored.

  • Planned publishers: BLS, BEA, ONS and Eurostat, read from their machine-readable schedules (origin feed).
  • Hand-kept tables: Census, FOMC and ECB dates would be kept by hand (origin manual). A manual row is served only after a person has checked it against the publisher and recorded the day in verified_on; an unchecked row cannot be stored.

Credit and impact

  • credit must be shown. Every row carries the attribution text its publisher's terms ask for. The API does not compose it and a client must not: whoever shows a row shows its credit.
  • impact is Aggre's own grading (high, medium or low) of how market-moving a release tends to be. It is editorial (impact_basis is always editorial), not the publisher's.
  • Times: ts is the release instant in Unix ms (UTC). Where the publisher gives the day and not the time, date_only is true and ts is the start of that UTC day: no time is made up. reference_period is null when the publisher does not name it; it is never guessed.
  • Changes: a source's schedule is replaced as a whole, so a release that was moved or withdrawn disappears from the future while past events stay.

The answer is { "data": [...], "meta": {...}, "next_cursor": null }. meta.dataDate is when the schedules were last read (the newest retrieved_at of the returned feed rows), not an event date; meta.status is stale when that is more than 3 days ago and empty when no row matches. Schema: calendar_events.json.
