Pricing and access

Early access: free keys, no plans yet

Pricing has not been decided, so there is nothing to buy. What exists is self-service access with limits, described below. When paid plans exist they will be published here before anyone is charged.

What you get today

  • An account on first sign-in. Sign in to the console with Google, GitHub or Orbbit. A personal account is created for you; organizations with owners, admins and members are optional. The same verified e-mail from different providers is treated as one person.
  • Self-service API keys owned by your personal account or an organization. Each key has a request quota per period. Its current limit and use are shown in the console and returned by GET /v1/whoami; the number is set by Aggre and may change while pricing is open.
  • Usage and audit views in the console: requests per key and per day, and a log of key and organization changes.
  • Per-IP rate limiting on the API, applied before the key is checked. A 429 with rate_limited or usage_limit_exceeded tells you which limit you hit.

What you do not get yet

  • No paid plans, invoices or payment flow. No card or payment detail is requested anywhere.
  • No service-level agreement or uptime commitment. Sources come online one at a time; see the datasets page.
  • No exemption from the per-IP rate limit and no unlimited keys for self-service accounts.
  • No sending of e-mail from the console yet: an organization invitation is a link the inviter passes on.

Need more than the default limits?

There is no public request channel yet. Limits are per key and visible in the console; this page will name a contact address when there is one.
